In order to provide
you with a website that fully meets your needs, we will need some help
from you.
Once we set up your
account, a MidwestChurches.com Team Member will be assigned to you
to personally walk you through the design process so you get what you
are looking for out of the site. We will need you to provide us with
any photos that you would like to include on the site. Some churches
like to include several pictures of the interior and exterior of the
church. Others like to include pictures of the pastor or other key
staff members on the site. We can handle this in one of two ways. You
can provide us with digital images via e-mail, or you can mail us actual
photos which we will scan and return to you.
Next we will need
all of the information that you want to have included on your site
in electronic form. This means you will need to type up the text that
will be included on the page in some sort of word processor . This
includes typing up your service times, contact information, church
history, any welcome message you might want on the page and any other
text that will appear.
Finally to take advantage
of your e-mail accounts, you will need to sign up with a local internet
service provider to supply a connection to the internet and a computer
to access it with. Some churches that do not have direct internet access
at the church turn those e-mail accounts over to parishoners in leadership
roles that might have computers at home. We can help you set up any
computer to access these e-mail accounts.
Once all of this
information is compiled, it should only take a few days for your MidwestChurches.com
Team Member to have your site up and running. After that, you need
only to contact your MidwestChurches.com Team Member to make any changes
to the page. Most minor changes such as a change in service times,
postings for special holiday services, or changing a pastor's name
are complimentary. Major changes to the site should be discussed with
your MidwestChurches.com Team Member as it may require an additional
fee.
